End-User Licence Agreement

Last updated: 5 June 2026

This End-User Licence Agreement applies to the Wring mobile application. It governs the software licence granted for the app itself. Operational use, subscriptions and service-related rules are addressed separately in the Terms of Use and Subscription Terms. By downloading, installing or using Wring, the User agrees to this EULA. If the User does not agree, the app must not be used.

1. Parties and Interpretation

This EULA is made between Kokoto, a Dutch sole proprietor and the publisher, owner and developer of Wring, and the User.

In this EULA:

Kokoto, we, us and our mean Kokoto in its capacity as publisher, owner and developer of Wring.

User, you and your mean the individual or entity downloading, installing, accessing or using Wring.

Store means the digital distribution platform through which Wring is obtained, including the Apple App Store operated by Apple Inc. and Google Play operated by Google LLC.

Store terms mean the terms, conditions and usage rules imposed by the relevant Store in connection with distribution and use of Wring, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. Licence Grant

Wring is licensed, not sold. Subject to this EULA, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on Apple-branded products or Android-powered devices that you own or control and as permitted by the applicable Store terms.

3. Scope of Licence

This licence permits you to install and run Wring for your own internal personal or professional use on supported devices that you own or control, subject to this EULA and the applicable Store terms.

This EULA does not grant any right to copy, commercialise, redistribute or create derivative works from the app except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

4. Restrictions

You must not copy, modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works of the app. You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive source code, except where mandatory law expressly permits this restriction to be limited. You must not remove copyright, trade mark or proprietary notices. You must not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense or otherwise make the app available to third parties. You must not use the app in a way that is unlawful, misleading, unsafe, fraudulent or technically harmful. You must not use the app in breach of the separate Terms of Use, Subscription Terms or applicable Store terms.

5. Related Terms

Use of Wring is also subject to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Safety Disclaimer and, where applicable, Subscription Terms. If there is a conflict between this EULA and those documents on a software-licensing issue, this EULA prevails for that licensing issue.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, its software, logic, calculations, text, graphics, branding and associated intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of Kokoto and its licensors. This EULA gives the User a right to use the app only. It does not transfer ownership.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

Wring is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties, representations and conditions, whether express, implied or statutory, are excluded, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability and non-infringement.

No statement in the app, on a website or in support correspondence creates any licence right beyond this EULA or any warranty that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kokoto is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary loss or damage, including loss of profit, production time, contracts, goodwill, data or business opportunity.

This EULA does not expand any liability that is otherwise excluded or limited under the Terms of Use or Safety Disclaimer.

If liability cannot lawfully be excluded, total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for Wring subscriptions during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Apple App Store Specific Terms

The following terms apply where you obtained Wring from the Apple App Store.

This EULA is concluded between the User and Kokoto only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance or support services for Wring.

In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price paid for the app, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation in relation to Wring.

Kokoto, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by the User or any third party relating to the app or the User's possession or use of the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.

In the event of any third-party claim that Wring or the User's possession and use of Wring infringes intellectual property rights, Kokoto, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo and are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app.

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against the User.

10. Google Play Specific Terms

The following terms apply where you obtained Wring from Google Play.

This EULA is concluded between the User and Kokoto only, and not with Google. Google is not responsible for the app or its content.

Your use of Wring obtained from Google Play must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service then in force.

Kokoto, not Google, is solely responsible for Wring and the content made available through it, for any support or maintenance of the app, and for addressing any claims by the User or any third party relating to the app or the User's possession or use of it.

To the extent this EULA provides for warranties, maintenance, support or liability that are inconsistent with the Google Play Terms of Service, the Google Play Terms of Service will govern as between Google and the User.

You acknowledge that Google has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services in connection with Wring.

11. Termination

This EULA remains effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if the User materially breaches it. Kokoto may suspend or terminate the licence where reasonably necessary to protect the app, comply with law or address misuse.

On termination, you must stop using the app and delete all copies in your possession or control.

12. Changes to This EULA

Kokoto may update this EULA to reflect changes in the app, applicable law, store rules or business practice. When material changes are made, the in-app terms version is increased and the User is asked to accept the updated EULA on next launch. Continued use of Wring after acceptance of an updated version constitutes agreement to it.

13. Entire Agreement

This EULA, together with any legal documents expressly incorporated by reference in it, constitutes the entire agreement between Kokoto and the User in relation to the software licence for Wring and supersedes any prior statements or understandings on that subject.

14. Severability

If any provision of this EULA is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. No Waiver

If Kokoto does not enforce a provision of this EULA immediately, that does not mean Kokoto waives any right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of the Netherlands. The parties expressly agree that no other court or international tribunal shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this Agreement.

Nothing in this Agreement removes or limits any mandatory consumer‑protection rights that the User may have under the laws of their country of habitual residence. Where such mandatory rights apply, the User may be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in relation to Wring. It describes Kokoto's data practices for the app.

1. Parties and Interpretation

In this Privacy Policy:

Kokoto, we, us and our mean Kokoto, a Dutch sole proprietor and the publisher, owner and developer of Wring.

User, you and your mean the individual using Wring.

Wring means the Wring mobile application.

2. Personal Data and the App

The Wring app itself does not collect personal data from users during normal use.

Wring does not require account creation, does not ask for names or email addresses within the app, and does not collect personal identifiers for app operation.

2a. Email and Support Correspondence

When you contact Kokoto by email, your name, email address and the content of your message are processed so we can respond to your enquiry. Kokoto uses locally hosted automation and AI software to help classify incoming messages and prepare drafts or internal notes. No email content is sent to external AI providers; all processing happens on Kokoto’s own hardware.

Depending on the nature of your message, your enquiry may be logged in Kokoto’s internal tracking tools within its Google Workspace account so we can follow up on support issues, manage legal correspondence, or respond to billing questions. No payment data is stored by Kokoto.

The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and where relevant, performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Email correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry, and no longer than 3 years unless required by law. Your data is not shared with third parties.

3. No Analytics, Tracking or Identifiers

Wring does not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, behavioural tracking, profiling tools or third-party tracking technologies.

Wring does not use device identifiers, advertising identifiers or similar technologies to identify users across apps or services.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

If the User purchases a subscription, billing and payment processing are handled by the platform store, Apple via the App Store on iOS, or Google via the Play Store on Android. Kokoto does not receive the User's payment-card details.

Apple and Google may process personal data in accordance with their own privacy documentation and terms. That processing is outside Kokoto's control.

5. Local App Data

Wring may store non-personal configuration data locally on the User's device in order to support app functionality. This local storage is not used by Kokoto to identify the User and is not transmitted to Kokoto.

5a. Cross-Device Synchronisation

Wring offers cross-device synchronisation of user-created data, including block sets, saved stacks, projects and rooms, through platform-provided storage.

iOS uses Apple iCloud Key-Value Store. This is always on when the User's device is signed in to iCloud and iCloud Drive is enabled for Wring. Apple processes this data under Apple's own privacy terms.

Android uses Google Drive's hidden per-app data folder, drive.appdata scope. This is opt-in: synchronisation is inactive until the User chooses to connect a Google account from the in-app Settings screen. Google processes this data under Google's own privacy terms. The connected account's email address is displayed inside Wring for the User's reference and is not transmitted to Kokoto.

No synchronised data is sent to Kokoto's own servers. Kokoto does not operate a backend for Wring and cannot access this synchronised data.

Synchronised data persists in the User's own iCloud or Google Drive account until the User deletes it. Uninstalling Wring from a device does not by itself delete the data held in the User's cloud account.

5b. Device Permissions and Integrations

Wring may request the following device-level permissions or integrations strictly to provide app features: file picker access for CSV import and export; share-sheet and print integrations for PDF reports; iCloud entitlement on iOS for synchronisation through Apple iCloud Key-Value Store; Google Drive access on Android, requested only after the User opts in and limited to the hidden per-app data folder (drive.appdata scope).

Wring does not request access to contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera, calendar, advertising identifiers or background location.

5c. Google Firebase (Block-Set Library and Promotional Codes)

Wring uses Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase App Check), operated by Google LLC, to provide two read-only features:

Block-set library — Plus and Pro subscribers can download curated gauge-block set definitions (brand, model and dimensions). Wring caches the library on the device so it is only re-downloaded when the catalogue has changed.

Promotional code redemption — when the User enters a promotional code, Wring queries Firestore to validate the code. If it is valid, Wring opens the App Store or Google Play so the User can redeem the associated store offer; the subscription itself is then granted and billed by the platform store.

These Firestore requests do not contain a user account, name, email address or other personal identifier. They are anonymous to Kokoto. Kokoto operates the Firebase project under its own Google Cloud account; Google processes the requests as Kokoto's data processor and may collect technical metadata (such as IP address, timestamp and device-type signal) for the operation, security and abuse prevention of the Firebase service, under Google's own privacy terms.

To prevent abuse of the library and quota, Wring uses Firebase App Check, which proves to Firebase that each request comes from a genuine, unmodified copy of Wring running on a real device. App Check is provided by Apple App Attest / DeviceCheck on iOS (Apple issues a device-bound attestation to Wring; Apple processes the underlying attestation request under Apple's own privacy terms) and Google Play Integrity on Android (Google issues an integrity verdict for the app and device; Google processes the underlying verdict request under Google's own privacy terms).

App Check tokens identify the app installation to Firebase, not the User. Kokoto does not link these tokens to a person.

The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in delivering and protecting subscriber features and in preventing abuse of Kokoto's Firebase quota.

6. GDPR and Your Rights

The Wring app itself does not collect or hold the User's personal data. There is therefore generally no in-app personal-data record for Kokoto to access, correct, delete, port or restrict.

Where you have contacted Kokoto by email (see section 2a), you have the following rights under the GDPR in relation to the personal data held in connection with that correspondence:

Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data Kokoto holds about you.

Right to rectification — you may request correction of inaccurate data.

Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your personal data where there is no overriding legitimate reason for Kokoto to retain it.

Right to restriction of processing — you may request that Kokoto restricts processing of your data in certain circumstances.

Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Kokoto will stop processing unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds.

Right to data portability — where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you may request your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact Kokoto at legal@kokoto.app. Kokoto will respond within one month in accordance with GDPR requirements.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). If you are based in another EU member state, you may contact the supervisory authority in your country of habitual residence.

7. Children's Data

Wring is not designed for children, and Kokoto does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if the app's data practices change. Material changes should be reflected in an updated version of this policy.

Safety Disclaimer

Last updated: 30 May 2026

This Safety Disclaimer sets out the safety-critical limits of Wring and the User's responsibility to verify outputs independently before use.

1. Parties and Interpretation

In this disclaimer:

Kokoto means Kokoto, a Dutch sole proprietor and the publisher, owner and developer of Wring.

User means the individual or entity using Wring.

2. Calculation Tool Only

Wring is a gauge-block calculation tool only. It is not measuring equipment, not a calibration device, and not a substitute for certified metrology instruments or verified inspection procedures.

3. Independent Verification Required

All dimensions, combinations, setups and resulting decisions must be independently verified using certified tools, competent professional judgement and the procedures applicable to the work being performed.

4. No Safety-Critical Reliance

Wring must not be used as the sole basis for safety-critical, compliance-critical or certification-critical decisions. This includes, without limitation, aerospace, medical, automotive safety, pressure systems, lifting equipment, protective systems, or any application where an incorrect value may cause injury, property damage, product failure or regulatory breach.

5. User Responsibility

The User is solely responsible for assessing whether the app is suitable for the task, checking the output, and preventing misuse in workshop, inspection or production environments.

6. Liability Warning

Use of Wring is entirely at the User's own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kokoto accepts no liability for any loss, defect, delay, damage or claim arising from reliance on calculations that were not independently verified.

Subscription Terms

Last updated: 6 June 2026

These Subscription Terms govern subscription access to premium features in Wring. They address subscription scope, billing, renewal, cancellation and related access rights. By purchasing or using a Wring subscription, the User agrees to these Subscription Terms.

1. Parties and Interpretation

These Subscription Terms are made between Kokoto, a Dutch sole proprietor and the publisher, owner and developer of Wring, and the User.

In these Subscription Terms:

Kokoto, we, us and our mean Kokoto in its capacity as publisher, owner and developer of Wring.

User, you and your mean the individual purchasing or using a Wring subscription.

Subscription means the platform-managed in-app subscription granting premium access to Wring, sold and billed through the Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android.

Promotional Code means a non-purchasable code issued by Kokoto (for example, included with a physical product) that the User enters inside Wring to start a fixed promotional period of Plus or Pro premium access by redeeming an associated offer through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

2. What the Subscription Unlocks

An active Wring subscription unlocks premium in-app features made available by Kokoto.

At the time of writing, premium access includes the following feature areas:

Creation, copying, editing and management of larger or fully customisable gauge-block sets, including separate dedicated wear-block sets.

Access to Kokoto's curated online library of brand gauge-block set definitions, downloaded on demand and cached on the device.

Additional set-level configuration, including material selection, grade selection, per-set wear-block settings, calibrated deviation settings, thermal-compensation inputs and stacking-error inputs.

Additional block-level editing fields, including block type, nominal thickness, calibrated deviation, next inspection date and tri-state pool membership.

Measurement-strategy selection beyond the fixed basic-mode calculation strategy.

Saving and recalling named gauge-block stacks, grouping them under projects, and tracking environmental room profiles.

Importing and exporting gauge-block sets as CSV files.

Exporting and natively printing single-stack and whole-project reports as PDF documents.

Premium result details and technical indicators, including calibrated breakdown information, grade-tolerance information, wear-block status and inspection status tracking.

Automatic background synchronisation of user-created data across the User's own devices through Apple iCloud on iOS or Google Drive's hidden app-data folder on Android when opted in.

Kokoto may refine, improve, rename or reorganise premium features over time, provided that the general nature of subscribed premium access remains materially consistent.

3. Billing and Payment Handling

All subscription purchases are processed by the platform store on which the User obtained Wring, Apple via the App Store on iOS or Google via the Play Store on Android. The relevant platform store, not Kokoto, handles billing, renewal timing, payment method charging and refund workflows.

4. Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

The renewal charge is applied by the platform store within 24 hours before the current period ends, using the payment method linked to the User's store account.

5. Cancellation

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple account settings or Google Play account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not usually cancel the current paid period immediately.

6. Price Changes

Kokoto may change subscription prices for future billing periods. If a price change applies to an existing subscription, the platform store (Apple or Google) will notify the User in accordance with its own rules, and the subscription will only renew at the new price if the User provides any consent required by the platform store. If consent is required and not given, the subscription does not renew at the new price.

7. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Where the User is a consumer in the European Union, the User is normally entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content under the Consumer Rights Directive. By starting to use the subscription (including starting the free trial) within that period, the User expressly consents to the immediate performance of the subscription and acknowledges that this causes the right of withdrawal to lapse once performance has begun. Refunds outside that statutory right are handled by the platform store under its own refund policy.

8. Access and Changes

Premium access remains available only while the subscription is active and in good standing. Kokoto may change, improve or retire premium features where reasonably necessary for maintenance, legal compliance, security or product development.

9. Free Trial

Both the monthly and yearly Wring Pro subscription plans include a 14-day free trial for new subscribers.

The trial is granted by the platform store at the point of purchase. No charge is made during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the platform store will charge the applicable subscription fee automatically at the start of the first paid billing period. Cancellation during the trial period prevents any charge and ends access to premium features when the trial expires. Trial eligibility is determined by the platform store. Users who have previously subscribed may not be eligible.

10. No Transfer Outside Platform Store Systems

Subscriptions are linked to the User's Apple or Google account and cannot be transferred, resold or managed outside those platform stores' purchase systems.

11. Promotional Codes

From time to time Kokoto may issue Promotional Codes that unlock a fixed promotional period of Plus or Pro premium access, for example as part of a physical product or marketing promotion. A Promotional Code is entered inside Wring, where Kokoto validates it. If the code is valid, Wring opens the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) so the User can redeem an associated store offer. The premium access is therefore delivered as a platform-store Subscription started through that offer.

Because access is provided as a platform-store Subscription, it appears in the User's Apple or Google billing records and, after the promotional period ends, renews automatically at the then-current standard price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the promotional period. The User can manage or cancel the Subscription at any time in their Apple account settings (iOS) or Google Play account settings (Android), exactly as for any other Subscription.

The promotional period (for example, six months) is the period configured for the offer. No charge is made during the promotional period; cancelling before it ends prevents the first standard renewal charge and ends premium access when the promotional period expires.

Each Promotional Code is single-use. Once redeemed it is invalidated and cannot be redeemed again, by the same or any other User or device, and the underlying store offer code is likewise single-use at the platform store.

Promotional Codes can only be redeemed by Users who do not currently have an active Subscription. A Promotional Code cannot be applied on top of, or used to upgrade, an existing active Subscription.

Promotional Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, are not transferable and are not refundable in cash.

Promotional Codes may be subject to additional conditions made available with the code, including an expiry date for redemption and a geographic restriction.

Kokoto may invalidate Promotional Codes that have been obtained or used fraudulently, by automated means, in bulk on resale platforms, or otherwise in breach of the conditions associated with the code, the EULA or the Terms of Use.

Where a Promotional Code was supplied with a physical product that proves defective, the User's remedy is governed by the consumer-protection rules applying to that physical product. Refunds for the resulting Subscription are otherwise handled by the platform store under its own refund policy.

12. Entire Agreement

These Subscription Terms, together with any legal documents expressly incorporated by reference in them, constitute the entire agreement between Kokoto and the User regarding Wring subscription access and supersede prior statements or understandings on that subject.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Subscription Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. No Waiver

If Kokoto does not enforce a provision of these Subscription Terms immediately, that does not mean Kokoto waives any right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 June 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and operational use of Wring. They deal with user conduct, subscriptions, risk allocation and service access. Software licensing terms for the app itself are set out separately in the EULA. By using Wring, the User agrees to these terms.

1. Parties and Interpretation

These Terms of Use are made between Kokoto, a Dutch sole proprietor and the publisher, owner and developer of Wring, and the User.

In these Terms of Use:

Kokoto, we, us and our mean Kokoto in its capacity as publisher, owner and developer of Wring.

User, you and your mean the individual or entity accessing or using Wring.

Wring means the Wring mobile application and related in-app subscription access made available by Kokoto.

2. Purpose of the App

Wring helps users calculate gauge-block combinations and related workshop planning values.

Wring does not provide certified metrology results, does not replace calibration records, and does not replace certified measurement equipment, quality assurance procedures or professional engineering judgement.

3. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that use of the app is lawful and appropriate in your workplace or jurisdiction.

You must verify all calculated results independently before relying on them. You must use certified measurement tools where confirmation is required. You must review units, tolerances, environmental factors and material conditions before acting on any result. You must ensure that any person using results generated by the app is properly trained.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not use the app for unlawful, deceptive or unsafe purposes. You must not interfere with the app's operation or attempt to bypass access controls. You must not misuse premium features, subscriptions or store mechanisms. You must not copy, resell, redistribute or exploit the app except as expressly permitted. You must not use automated means to extract, scrape or harvest data from the app, or use the app or its outputs to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning or generative AI systems. You must not rely on the app alone for safety-critical, regulatory or certification-dependent decisions.

5. Professional-Use Warning

Wring is intended to support skilled users in workshop and technical environments. It is not a substitute for validated shop-floor controls. Results must be checked by the user before use in manufacturing, inspection, quoting, process design or customer delivery.

6. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

Wring may offer premium features by way of auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the platform store on which the User obtained the app, Apple via the App Store on iOS, or Google via the Play Store on Android.

Both the monthly and yearly plans include a 14-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, granted by the platform store at the point of purchase. No charge is made during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription fee is charged automatically.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. The platform store charges the renewal to your store account within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings or Google Play account settings. Billing and refund handling are performed by the platform store, not by Kokoto.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Wring is provided on an as is and as available basis. No warranty is given that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, compliant with a particular manufacturing process or accepted by any customer, auditor or certifying body.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kokoto is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, production delays, scrap, rework, rejected parts, business interruption, data loss or claims caused by reliance on unverified calculations.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the subscription amounts paid for Wring during the 12 months before the relevant claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Kokoto from and against any third-party claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising out of or related to your use or misuse of Wring, your breach of these Terms of Use or any other Wring legal terms, or reliance by you or any third party on outputs of Wring that were not independently verified.

10. Third-Party Services

Wring relies on services operated by third parties, including Apple and Google for app distribution and billing, Apple iCloud and Google Drive for optional cross-device synchronisation, Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase App Check) for the read-only block-set library and promotional-code redemption, Apple App Attest / DeviceCheck and Google Play Integrity for App Check attestation, and the device operating system for core functionality. Kokoto has no control over the availability, reliability or conduct of these services. Kokoto is not responsible for interruptions, data loss, billing disputes or failures arising from or caused by third-party services.

11. User Data Responsibility

All user-created data in Wring, including block sets, saved stacks, projects and rooms, is stored locally on your device. If cross-device synchronisation is enabled, data is stored in your own Apple iCloud or Google Drive account, governed by the terms of those platforms. You are responsible for the security of your device and cloud accounts and for maintaining any backups you consider necessary. Kokoto has no access to your local or cloud data and accepts no liability for its loss, corruption or unauthorised access.

12. Suspension and Termination

Kokoto may suspend or terminate access where necessary to address misuse, enforce these terms, protect the service or comply with legal obligations.

You may stop using Wring at any time by removing the app from your device and cancelling any active subscription through your Apple account or Google Play account.

13. Relationship with Other Legal Terms

These Terms of Use should be read together with the EULA, Privacy Policy, Safety Disclaimer and, where relevant, Subscription Terms. The EULA governs the software licence. These Terms of Use govern how Wring may be used in practice.

14. Changes to These Terms

Kokoto may update these Terms of Use to reflect changes in the app, applicable law, store rules or business practice. When material changes are made, the in-app terms version is increased and the User is asked to accept the updated terms on next launch. Continued use of Wring after acceptance of an updated version constitutes agreement to it.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with any legal documents expressly incorporated by reference in them, constitute the entire agreement between Kokoto and the User regarding operational use of Wring and supersede prior statements or understandings on that subject.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

17. No Waiver

If Kokoto does not enforce a provision of these Terms of Use immediately, that does not mean Kokoto waives any right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

Nothing in these Terms of Use removes mandatory consumer-protection rights that the User may have in their country of habitual residence, including the right of a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
